If you have an opportunity to see this band live, absolutely do it. The nerdy genius in OK Go's music videos translates perfectly into their live show. Tons of lights, multiple projection screens, a live interactive looping section, webcams taped to mics — and all of it ebbing and flowing with beautiful orchestration, highlighting and not distracting from the equally gifted musicians.
The only thing crazier than seeing confetti cannons at the Lied was when I googled the band half way through the show to discover that they've been performing this brilliant shenanigans since 1998. I feel old.
Anyways, enjoy this set. Because I loved shooting it.
