Cousin Emily and Travis

Living two blocks away from my cousins, Emily and Michael, it was a lot like growing up with two more siblings. We played like siblings (and fought like siblings) for most of my childhood. Emily has always been such an enigma — so smart and talented in so many different ways. I think she'd be the first to admit that, at times, she might've been too smart for her own good. But seeing the amazing and strong person she's grown into and the beautiful daughter she has raised, I don't think she'd change a thing about the road she has taken.

Especially since it appears to have all led her straight to this gent.

Travis, I can't wait to get to know you better. I believe photography captures things that words can't express. And I believe these photos tell the story about your love for my cousin. I can't wait for you two to start your lives together as one.
